1911 was a prolific year for C. W. Leadbeater. Indeed reading the letter while he is discussing a major event that occurred on December 28th. There was many members who were to receive certificates of membership and a formal ceremony to receive them from the Head. The President (she), Miss Arundale, Nitya and a few other occupied the benches. The new members were to hand the certificates to Telang who would read the name and then hand the paper to Krishna who would return it to the owner. (paraphrasing parts of the letter)
